Über den Dächern

The equipment

The 50 m² large apartment above the roofs is perfect for families. Up to four berths can be booked.

The first bedroom with the comfortable double bed offers views of the frame mountain with Haller and Burg. On the ceiling you can still see the historical oak beams.

Only separated from the bedroom by exposed truss you enter the living area. Here you can start your day with tea or coffee thanks to the kettle and ingredients. The cosy couch can of course also be used for television. The flat screen offers smart TV, satellite TV and a Netflix subscription. Wine glasses, champagne glasses and corkscrews are also available for long evenings.

The adjoining transit room offers a broad seat opportunity, which can be used also as further sleep opportunity. The historical wardrobe offers space for clothes. Also here fascinating views of our half-timbered idyll. The passage room has a second entrance, in case you use the apartment with more than two persons.

The bathroom has a shower and WC.

If you book the apartment for more than two people, you can choose one further bedroom with two single beds with Hallerblick. This is located in the corridor in front of the double room and can reach the bathroom through a further entrance in the passage room.

Our rooms are all individually furnished. Historical, partly stucco, partly oak, partly Cologne ceilings reflect the long history of our house. Wooden floorboards with historical furniture, supplemented by contemporary comfortable beds, create a special atmosphere. Double glazed windows offer truly unique views of our beautiful old town. And a modern heating system will not let you freeze even in the deepest winter.

Five (or seven) windows offer views of the garden, the idyllic old town of Monschau and the Rur. This is worth the climb to the third floor.
