The equipment
The 50 m² large Castle room is perfect for families of four. It has two bedrooms, one living room and one own bathroom with shower and WC. Our castle room on the ground floor is ideal for guests who want to climb as few stairs as possible. You enter the castle room through the first, large bedroom. Three large windows offer views of the idyllic old town of Monschau such as the Kolpinghaus and the Rahmenberg and its summit with the Haller ruin. It is equipped with a double bed and a large wardrobe.
From there it goes into the comfortable living room. A comfortable sofa and a comfortable ear chair offer space for being together, be it for reading or enjoying the view. Or, you could prefer the amenities of Smart-TV and Netflix-Abo on our large flat screen TV over a cup of tea, coffee or wine. Glasses and corkscrews are already there. From here you have a great view of the Rur and the Red House.
Via the common living room you reach the bathroom with shower and WC.
The smaller second bedroom has two boxspring single beds . It is located on the other side of the living room. Also from this room you can see the Rur and the Red House.
Our rooms are all individually furnished. Historical partly stucco ceilings, wooden floorboards with historic furniture, supplemented by contemporary comfortable beds, create a special atmosphere.
Double glazed windows and a modern heating system will not let you freeze even in winter.
A total of six large windows offer views of the idyllic old town of Monschau with the Red House, the Rur, Kolpinghaus and castle. The ascent to the Panoramaweg is directly opposite our house Stehlings.
